Sun Surf Pikake Shirt
Sun Surf's "Pikake" shirt is a tribute to a unique era and tradition. It is said that the peacock was the favorite bird of Princess Kaiulani, the last heir to the throne of the Hawaiian dynasty. Therefore, the peacock was considered special and was also a popular motif for Aloha shirts produced in the 1950s. At the time, the original fabric of this aloha shirt was printed by Kanebo for Ross Sutherland, a high-end men's clothing store in Honolulu.
